Friends of the Bexar County Child Welfare Board, Inc. is the nonprofit of the Bexar County Child Welfare Board (CWB). The CWB is a statutorily created board that is tasked with advocating on behalf of all abused and neglected children within Bexar County. CWB and Friends work directly with the local Bexar County CPS department and serve ALL, on average 5,000, children in their care. Most nonprofits serve subsets of those children. CWB and Friends offers direct support, programing, and plans events for CPS children.
